Early Golden Bantam Hybrid Sweet Corn provides fresh and canned quality.

An outstanding sweet corn variety with great flavor! This hybrid variety is widely adapted, ensuring robust and flavorful crops wherever grown. These sweet corn plants yield two or more five to seven-inch ears on five to six-foot stalks.

Sow seed directly in the garden after all danger of frost is past and soil is warm. Plant 1 seed every 4 inches. Thin to 1 plant every 12 inches when plants are 4 inches tall. Control weeds with mulch and keep plants well watered, especially when tops begin to tassel.

Healthy, Fast Growing Sweet Corn Seed - Excellent Germination

"I completely disagree with Jennifer Friday's review below . . . I live in zone 9, planted my F-M Early Golden Batam seed on the 4th of July, 2020, and the stalks - in less than a month - are nearly 5' tall and growing very quickly. Daytime temps are greater than 100, and the plants are thriving! (See attached Pic). I anticipate ripe corn right after Labor Day - would have been much sooner, should I have planted in late April or early May. Now, the plants do require considerable irrigation, much more than a drip system is able to deliver. Jennifer, up your irrigation, the seed is fine . . . The only reason I did not score 5 stars is that I have not seen end product yet . . . but otherwise, perfect!"
