Instructions Chevron Forward

In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

Be ready for a gorge of a garden

"I am beyond excited to see these babies bloom! I planted a few here for testing purposes but will be planting the rest of them right after the first frost to get the best cold stratification. 1 lb should cover 1000 sq feet, I definitely do not have that much area in my garden so they should be pretty dense. Fingers crossed! I have always wanted wildflowers!"

— JoAnna C. (4/5)

Very beautiful

"Unfortunately I can’t plant these current ones because if I do they’ll die it isn’t the right time to plant these. But I have used this exact brand and I can say they’re very high quality seeds and sprout so beautiful if you follow directions, they’re low maintenance plants so I highly recommend."

— Adara G. (5/5)

Very fast growing!!!

"These Ferry Morse flower seeds are very fast growing. I planted a handful 10 days ago and already have sprouts. They are a mixture of annuals and perennials so they provide a mixture of colors and variation. I have 2 and 1/2 acres of land and have been looking to add a small flower garden. This bag will more than cover the area I am planning on planting. I do wish that the annuals and perennials were separated, but overall am excited to get started on my garden."

— Wanda T. (4/5)

Large variety

"Large variety of flowers in this seed mix. I used it at a party and had the kids plant their own tiny flower pots with these seeds. I didn’t used the whole bag there is so much in there so it is for large spaces."

— Athina C. (4/5)

Beautiful flowers

"This wildflower seed pack has a wide variety of flowers in it. The instructions were easy to follow. I planted them near my porch and have such a vibrant color. I love them!"

— Ashley R. (5/5)

Wildflower gardening made easy

"This is the perfect seed blend for those of us who want a beautiful garden bursting with wildflowers without having to figure out all the details. With a mix of both annuals and perennials, the ability to plant in either the fall or spring, and it being specific flowers native to the Northeast as well as adaptive non native flowers; Ferry-Morse has made it effortless to create a caprivating wildflower garden. I especially love that the seed blend has both annuals and perennials because it allows you to reseed and build upon the current flower garden, making it even more robust the next year. Just find your perfect spot, whether a garden bed, window box or planters and let the captivating chaos of a wildflower garden unfold."

Ferry-Morse Northeastern Mix Bulk wildFlower Seeds

"Functionality wise I’m excited to see what blooms, and I’m sure the fragrance is going to be amazing. consistency is on point and I’ll be honest I was expecting a little seed pouch so I had a flower pot ready to plant the flowers in but with the size of the bag I can either spread all the seeds or do it in moderations so that way I have flowers . Either way I absolutely love this."

— Emily O. (5/5)

Good amount in bag for the price

"I just planted so no thoughts on what maitenance will come with the flowers or growth yet. Planted in full sunlight. The size of the bag is great for the price. Seems of good quality for the product."

— Kristen E. (4/5)

So pretty!

"These seeds will be easy to grow in the spring! I have a huge area behind my veggie garden where I will plant these. Hopefully I will get some pollinators! They will look beautiful and won’t require any maintenance."
