Product Information

Root-Gel seals the cutting and functions as an artificial root system during root development.

SUPERthrive Root-Gel promotes vigorous root growth, proves propagation of plant cuttings, and helps sustain plants during root development.

It contains both IBA and NAA hormones plus the right amount of essential minerals in a water-soluble gel to get cuttings off to a great start. It applies quickly, easily, and thoroughly, surrounding the cutting with a thick coating of protective nutrients.

Instructions

Preparation of Cuttings: Select healthy cuttings 3" - 6" long from growing tip. Avoid soft spindly stems from rapid growth. Sever cutting at a 45° angle with a sterilized sharp knife or razor blade, not pruners. Dip cutting in Root-Gel and place in hole in rooting medium do avoid rubbing Root-Gel off cutting. Never place cuttings in direct sunlight. Maintain root zone temperatures at 70°-75°. Trim excessive leaf surface to reduce transpiration water loss when roots are forming. Mist regularly with SUPERthrive Pro-TeKt i for optimum results. In areas of poor quality, use of distiled water is recommended. Applying SUPERthrive Grow 7-9-5 and Pro-TeKt to the mother plant prior to taking the cuttings will result in higher success rates.
