If you are looking for the tallest and most prominent sunflower, this is the variety for you! American Giant Sunflower can reach up to 16 feet tall with 10-inch-wide blooms.
Because of their size, American Giant Sunflowers make for perfect competition flowers. Their ginormous blooms are supported on sturdy stalks with large leaves.
*Please note that Sunflower American Giant Hybrid seeds are large and vary in size. One gram of these seeds could result in only 12-20 seeds per packet.

Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.
