Instructions

After all danger of frost, sow American Giant Sunflower seeds in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1" of soil. When plants are 4" tall, thin. Sunflowers need lots of water.

Seed Spacing: Sow American Giant Sunflower seeds roughly 18 - 24" apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions

Excellent for tall blooming backgrounds and screens for unsightly places. Harvest seed by cutting flower heads when backs are yellow, then hanging downward in a warm, dry place.
