Instructions Chevron Forward

Peas are a cool-season crop, easy to grow and very quick to harvest. Direct-sow the seeds 1 to 2 inches apart and 1 to 1½ inches deep. In warm southern and western climates, peas are also ideal as a fall crop started in late summer.

Planting Depth: 1.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow Melting Sugar Peas seeds roughly 2" apart in rows, keeping rows approximately 2.5' apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions Chevron Forward

When harvesting peas, do not jerk pea pods from vines since rough handling can cause plants to stop producing. It is best to snip clusters of pods from vines with scissors or pruners.

Pea seeds review

"We received our seeds very quickly. We haven't planted them yet, but we are looking forward to next Spring."

Great customer service!

"Great customer service as I received my seeds very quickly. My wife wanted to try these and I am just as anxious. I love peas and other spring crops."

Mike B. (5/5)

Didn’t have time to plant this year

"Nice packaging I actually got these to late to plant this year because we have a short growing season but I am excited to try them next year! We like peas so I’m sure we will like them."

Alisonr81 (5/5)

I Feel Like A Farmer

"These seeds are wonderful. They were planted in our indoor garden and in about three days there were sprouts. They grew and grew and produced flowers in a few weeks. We are now patiently waiting for the pea pods to begin growing. I highly recommend this company for all your seed needs."

Rattersfan (5/5)

Very prolific

"I'm in zone 6b. I planted these in early spring, up vertical strings tied to an overhead trellis, in a double row (one on either side of the strings). They were extremely prolific - I could hardly keep up. They were very tender. I also like that they are not hybrid, so I can save the seeds from the ones that got missed during harvesting."

Loretta (5/5)

Slow growing but seem to be good quality

"This was my second germination batch, since my first got accidentally thrown out by my roommate. They’ve been sitting in the plastic bag for about a month, seems like they should be more developed. Might be an error in my method though. Looks like I have at least 2 really good looking, viable seeds. Will be planting them even though it’s late in the growing season to see if I get to harvest some peas. Looking forward to trying these seeds again next spring! Seeds seem to be decent quality, will be curious to see the resulting produce and how it tastes."

Allisons277 (5/5)

Great Germination!

"These seeds did great sprouting indoors! It’s been a heatwave kind of month in Utah, and they haven’t fared as well outside, but that’s not due to the plants! It’s the kind of hot where you sweat walking to get the mail! I know it would have yielded great produce and my kiddos would have loved collecting them with me!"

Kecarter (4/5)

Seeds are healthy

"I received these seeds late in the season as it's already July. I am unsure if they will produce any vegetables this late. But the seeds were healthy and seemed to have sprouted within a couple of days and by a couple of weeks they had grown a ton. I will plant them outside and see what happens."

Taylors334 (5/5)

Great seeds!

"Fantastic seeds! Growing super quick! Super happy with how many sprouted and counting to pop up! The packaging was nice and easy to dispose of! We haven't tasted yet, but will update!"

Mattiel3 (5/5)

Super fast sprouting!

"Planted these guys three days ago and already have sprouts!! I was worried I was planting a bit late in the season, but am already thrilled with my results! Usually I don't expect much from seed packets, as I typically get better veggie yield from purchasing small plants to start. Looking forward to what is shaping up to be a great harvest!"
