Direct sow in early spring or fall in loose soil, in full sun to part shade. Space seeds 1 inch apart in rows or broadcast for baby greens, then cover lightly with soil. Keep soil moist. Thin to 6 inches apart when plants have 2-3 leaves. Harvest young or individual leaves regularly as they grow, and resow every 2-3 weeks for a steady supply.

"You can see the different types of seeds for this blend. I would have appreciated a picture or a QR code that would take you a website that shows you which seed is which. My blend is still growing so I have not harvested yet, but I am hopeful because the great instructions they gave on the packet."

"I tried the Ferry-Morse Italian Salad Blend Seeds and the storage was simple because I kept them In a cool, dry place and the stayed viable for months without any issues. When it came to maturity, the mix sprouted and grew fairly quickly, and I had a bunch of harvestable greens in just a few weeks the harvest itself was easy since the leaves are baby-leaf size and you can snip what you need without disturbing the rest of the plant. The flavor is mild and fresh with w nice mix of peppery and bright salad greens, which makes it great for everyday salads instead of something super bitter. For germination, I saw good sprouts out of most of the seeds so the blend felt reliable and productive. Overall it was easy to grow and gave me tasty salad greens without too much fuss."
