Plant from spring to early summer. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, early spring day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Annuals will bloom the same year they are planted. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

"I am excited to get some blooms from this great variety of flower seeds. Unfortunately, it has been the worst time of year to plant in Southern California, as this is the hottest time of year. So far my plants have not grown but I am optimistic that when I try again for the spring, that I will have beautiful blooms. The packaging was easy to open and is inviting for wanting to get out in the garden."
"I love how many seeds are in this package. There is a good variety of flowers. I can't wait to plant more in a different location. I originally used some soil from the store in a big bucket outside in full sun. The seeds sprouted quickly, within a week. Unfortunately we had an exceptional heat wave and my sprouts didn't stand a chance. I tried again with the same results. I ended up planting some in a small pot that has spent some time inside and some outside. They are growing well! I was excited about how quick they sprouted and can't wait to see the flowers that come from it. I recommend planting them where they can have occasional shade and making sure you can get regular water to them."
"I really like this flower mix! It’s easy to use, and my plants look fresh and healthy after planting. Great quality and a good choice for the garden! Good size and amazing smell."
"I’m so excited for my wildflower to bloom! It was easy and I was surprised to see some blooming already at 3 days from when I planted. I included pictures of my first and second week. I live in AZ and planted during 100+ heat, on the south facing side."
"I just absolutely ADORE the Ferry-Morse Hot, Dry Annual Mix Bulk Wildflower Seeds. They do absolutely wonderful in hot and dry climates, which is the type of climate that I live in. I love how the flowers give a burst of color and they make my garden so much livelier! Their blooms are absolutely beautiful, especially the zinNia S, marigolds, daisies, baby’s breath and so on. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this product to those who want beautiful flowers but live in hot and dry weather!!"
"Been using the Feery Morse Superthrive plant food for my indoor and outdoor plants, it's very easy to use! My planta look healthier eap in this summer heat! They look greener and noticed some growth too. This is a great addition to your usual routine"
"This is exactly what I needed for a bear space in my garden. I am on a corner lot and I get full sun in a little water. These will look gorgeous once they bloom and will bring much color to otherwise dull area."
"Simple seed packaging and has a lot of product. Lists all the flowers in the bulk mix. My toddler and I had a fun time hand scattering them in our backyard. Excited to see these beautiful flowers grow in the hot NorCal heat!"
"These arrived in a well sealed bag. This is different to other packs of seeds I’ve purchased which are sometimes open and leaking out of the packaging. They look wonderful and were easy to sow."
"Absolutely beautiful flowers. They are a spring mix. I cannot wait to see them year after year. Huge bag definitely will purchase more very stunning."
