In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

"Once the weather became warm enough, I scattered the entire bag of the seeds. My space was nicely covered with mixed seeds since the package was quite large (1 lb). This made the process quite easy. I have been watering daily, making sure not to over do it. There is a nice Variation of plants in the package. A month later, I have a lot of sprouts. I am just waiting to see which plants are growing. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since sprouting and none have flowered. There aren’t even any buds yet. Hopefully, I will see some soon."
