Product Information Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Pinto Beans are oval, medium-sized garden beans often used in Latin cuisines.

Pinto beans are easy to grow and they provide excellent nutritional value. This indeterminate, large bush type bean variety grows best in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil.

Incorporate organic matter into your soil at planting, then fertilize as flowering and bud-set begins. Be sure to provide adequate amounts of water.

Plan on drying beans? Dried beans do require a longer growing season, as you harvest them at full maturity.

Planting Depth: 1 - 1.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow Pinto Beans seeds roughly 4" apart in rows, keeping rows approximately 24"-30" apart. Bush Bean Type.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.
