This kit includes four varieties of tomato plantlings - Amish Paste Tomato, Beefmaster Tomato, Early Girl Tomato, and Super Sweet 100 Cherry Tomato - that will produce delicious tomatoes of various shapes and sizes that can be sliced, diced, and bite-sized. The plants are 1-3in. in size and are ready to be planted in your garden.
For best results, plant the tomatoes in a sunny spot that receives at least 8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Tomatoes require well-draining soil with a pH of 6.0-6.8. When planting, dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and mix in compost to the soil. After planting, water the tomatoes regularly, about 1 inch per week. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks. Pruning is also important to promote healthy growth and prevent disease. To harvest, pick the tomatoes when they are fully ripe and still firm.
