Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.
For storage, cut top 5 inches of stalks before flowering in early summer and dry leaves in the shade. Repeat as new growth develops. Sage will thrive as a potted plant.

"I planted on June 26 - I have these inside under a grow light because our summer has been very mild up until a few days ago. I usually do 2 seeds per hole to let them compete. I did 3 holes. So, 2 out of 3 holes have sprouted in only 12 days (today is July 7). Not bad! I transplant these into larger containers once they are large enough.
