In cooler climates, start seeds indoors 8 weeks before planting outdoors. Keep soil moist and provide strong light after seedlings emerge. Or, sow directly in the garden in a sunny location. Plant 2 seeds every 18 inches. Thin or transplant to 1 plant every 18 inches when 3 inches tall. Use a balanced fertilizer when 6 inches tall to increase production.

Huge Cayenne Pepper

"I started my plants a little late this year in zone 8, and some sort of pest overtook them and was laying eggs on the blossoms, so I figured the plant wouldnt recover in time before cold weather hit, but I sprayed it with Captain jacks neem spray and hoped for the best. Well, a couple months later and its still blooming going into November, and I have a monster cayenne pepper that I look forward to harvesting. I have the Anaheim peppers still going too. I bought my seeds in November last year but they were marked for 2026. I got them at Lowe's"

Simple but long time growing seeds

"The seats really haven't grown yet because in this Texas heat it's quite hard for anything to grow with barely any water, but it was easy instructions at least to be able to plant this on my own outside of my little garden. I did plan it in a few smaller pots first before transferring it to a larger pot. It didn't have any sort of pests coming towards them, but it was also just taking a bit longer to harvest, especially during spring time."

"I received this product for free from Ferry-Morse Seeds and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I planted two seeds, Cayenne Long Slim Organic Seeds, per pod in my hydroponic kit to be safe, better odds that at least one sprouts. I color coded my pods (cayenne = red) so that I don't' mix them up with my other peppers My beat up / well used hydroponic kit only has 7 slots so organization within this small planter is super important, especially when it comes time to harvest. The seeds look healthy and were easy to germinate. Can't wait to see how these cayenne seeds sprout and grow indoors."

"Sad to see the 1 star review as I went out of my way to purchase these seeds when Home Depot didn't have any. The packaging is a little different on these now but my little seedlings are looking stronger from these new seeds than my old batch I planted. I'm a novice gardener and yet had a large enough batch from one plant to create some hot sauce and store some in the freezer... It was awesome!
