Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

Did you know you can grow these onions in containers? Sow two to three organic onion seeds per inch. Thin seedlings to three inches apart when they grow three inches tall. If sowing in rows, sow bunching onion seeds around 12 inches apart. Also, be sure to sow seeds in a well-draining soil! Follow these directions when planting; your onion plants should grow just fine!

Planting Depth: 0.25"-0.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow 2-3 Organic Evergreen Bunching Onion seeds seeds every 1". Thin seedlings to 3" apart when plants are 3" in height.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Reviews

organic bunching onions

"I purchased your organic evergreen bunching onions in a store. The package was 600mg. I have tried four times to grow them from seed, with light, without light, with a grow mat, and without a grow mat. Each time was a failure. All my other seeds have come up and many have already been harvested. Very disappointed in the quality of these seeds."

So fun

"When these arrived we weren’t in season to grow right away, but when the weather warmed up, they took off! We were very pleased with the harvest time, as well as the taste! We love being able to have access to herbs right in our backyard!"

Michelle (4/5)

Nothing Germinated.

"I received these seeds in a timely manner. I had high hopes. I wanted to start some early to put in my Spring Garden. NONE of the seeds germinated. I tried some in a paper towel, too Same thing. I am wondering if I got old seed. I ordered other onion seeds from a different company and they are doing great, so it isn't the seed starter I used."

Fresh and fun!

"Great product! Pretty easy to plant and sprouted well, growing well also. Will soon be ready to harvest and eat! Would definitely recommend for fresh veggies!"

Great Yield

"This was my first year gardening in quite some time. And my first time ever starting from seeds. These seeds had easy to following instructions and provided a fairly quick yield. I’ve harvested and replanted and find the flavor great for green onions. Would recommend."

Worldthrubrowneyes (5/5)

Simple and Delish!

"I do not have a green thumb by all means, but this seed packet for onions was super easy to plant. I just found a well lit area in my grandparents large yard, dug a good enough hole, and placed the seeds there. That's really all there is to it along with typical maintenance. And then there was the waiting game. It took just about the 2 months for them to finally be ready to take to the table. I just got a chance to try some yesterday in a meal and they were awesome!! I rarely plant things in my or my grandparents yard because I get intimidated by the instructions and maintenance on the seed packages but these made it really easy for a beginner like me!"

Modasbycaroline (5/5)

Quick growing

"The seeds were easy to plant and grew quickly. Looking forward to adding them to recipes in the future. The package was clear with directions and easy to open."

Lisawa7eb (4/5)

Can’t wait to eat them!

"So this is the first time I’ve ever grown green onions. It was pretty easy. I planted them in a garden bed with tomatoes. They sprouted in just a little over a week! They are really starting to grow and I’ll probably be able to pick them in I’m guessing 2 weeks? I’m pretty proud of them haha!"
