"These Ferry-Morse organic chive seeds grew beautifully and tasted great. We appreciate the sustainable practices of Ferry-Morse and will buy again."
"The packaging is similar to other plant seed packaging. The instructions were clear. The seeds sprouted very quickly and produced many chive plants."
"Growing instructions were easy to understand. The germination rate of the seeds were fairly fast. I started these inside, so pests weren’t a thing to worry about. Overall a pretty great product. Now to wait for them to fully grow and taste!"
"I was so excited to get these in the mail. I love chives and they are easy to grow. My 10 yr old son is getting ready to plant these and we are hoping they grow quickly."
"I planted these seeds in three pots and so far only one pot has germinated. They took about 2 weeks to start growing to where they are in the picture I added. Excited to taste organic chives and to add these into different meals. Besides seem to be growing strong so far and I will see how they grow as summer continues."
"I just put these little guys out yesterday, and they got a good soak overnight, so hopefully, we'll have the beginnings of chives soon. I've planted this brand before (herbs, not vegetables) and have always had good luck, so I'm hopeful about these. They went in very late, so I'm not sure what we'll get out of them before the frost comes, but it should be at least a baked potato or three."
"I love including chives in my garden to feed our pollinator friends and keep pest away and then dry it out at the end of every season to use as a spice year round. This is a great price for organic, non-gmo seeds. Growing instructions are clear and plenty of seeds are included to insure you have a good yield. I have always had great success with Ferry Morse seeds."
"These 100% Organic Ferry~Morse Chives are a beautiful and delicious addition to my herb garden. My bees love them as much as I do. I adore the soft purple color and the simplicity of the packaging. It catches your eye quite nicely. The instructions on the back are easy to understand and follow, and the color coded map lets you know the best time to start your seeds depending on the area you live in. Above the instructions, there's information on the product and some ideas about how these chives can be used. I appreciate all these little details. It makes it that much more fun to pick out and buy the Organic Ferry~Morse brand of seed packets over others at the store. The seeds I've planted have almost all sprouted and turned into lovely plants. Ferry~Morse seeds is a reliable brand that I have grown to trust. I love chives and always have them in my garden. These did wonderful in planters and straight in the ground. If you love onions, you will absolutely love chives. They have a sweeter, slightly subtle onion flavor to them. The flowers are beautiful as well. Chives aren't too hard to take care of either. If you don't have much gardening experience, it's okay because these are great for beginner or expert gardeners alike!"
"I love a nice herb garden, though I love it even more when it’s mine! I’m lucky enough to have been able to add Ferry-Morse’s chives into the mix. I love being able to rely on high-quality seeds like these to grow ingredients for myself and my family. Germination time has been pretty on par with what I expected. Start inside, finish outside. These will grow nicely in my Zone 6a backyard!"
"As you can see, I’m a little behind planting these chives but they are beginning to sprout after a couple weeks. They were easy to plant, looked to be high quality in size. It will be great to have an organic option in my herb garden and be able to compare it with my other chives."
