Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

"This is my first time ever trying to grow cauliflower from seeds. The seeds look like mustard seeds and can easily be confused. There is detailed instructions how to sow the seeds. Instructions said to sow two seeds together and then another two a feet apart. As I am in Michigan, I am afraid that I received this packet late and has missed the actual sowing timeline, but still I have out the seeds in a planter and would shift them plants/seedlings when they are ready to shift to garden. After opening the seeds, I germinated them on wet papertowel and transplanted them into dirt once they sprouted. They have been watered daily and weeded around it as needed.
