Lavender Munstead is a fragrant perennial herb that typically grows 12 to 18 inches tall.

It grows in well-drained soil and enjoys heat and full sun, making it great for both cutting gardens and container displays. This beautiful spiky flower grows best in the late spring into summer and is excellent for use in perennial or herb gardens.

Munstead lavender is also a great option if you want an herb to dry and make into potpourri and herb sachets. Consider growing these lavender seeds in containers for a scented patio.

Only 1 seed out of approx 52 germinated

"I bought 2 packets of these seeds and planted 26 pods with 2-3 seeds each, approx 52 seeds total. One of those seeds germinated. Only one. I wrote Ferry-Morse about the issue and have yet to receive a response from them with a solution to the seeds not germinating. It's been about a week since I wrote them. With customer service like this, I'll take my money elsewhere."

Grow strong and last great under hot condition

"They sent me the thai basil one, but they grow fast and stay strong under bad weather and hot weather, and taste good. I think these would have been beautiful lavenders in my garden too."

I received Cinnamon Basil Which Is still Great!

"I really wanted the Lavender, but was sent Cinnamon Basil instead, which still seems pretty cool! The seeds were easy to plant, I placed them in soil and watered it as needed. The sunshine really made these babies grow fast! They’re doing great, sitting on my patio outside and absorbing all of the summer heat. I hope to see them continue to spread and soon begin blossoming!"

Beautiful and lovely smell!

"I recently tried the lavender seeds from Ferry-Morse, and I am thrilled with the results. The seeds germinated quickly and consistently, showing excellent viability. Within just a couple of weeks, the seedlings began to flourish, and now they’ve grown into beautiful lavender plants. The vibrant purple flowers and the delightful fragrance they bring to my garden are truly remarkable. Additionally, the seeds were easy to plant and the instructions provided were straightforward, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend these lavender seeds to anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and a soothing aroma to their garden."

Good seeds

"I love planting flowers in the spring and summer , these seeds are good they grew like they should. When I get flowers on them I’m sure they will smell great too!"

Jessicas1105 (4/5)

Nice seeds grow great plants!

"This lavender smells divine even though it is technically not mature yet. With the weather we have had in the Midwest it came up quickly. I used regular soil and a little pot to plant it in at first but plan to move it to a larger space. It is technically a perennial but in my zone it will most likely be an annual."

Sofiyac (5/5)

Super pretty and smell great

"This was not the seed that I originally selected, but I still added it to my garden. The packaging is standard for a pack of seeds. I saw some sprouting within a week and it has been growing pretty steady since. I have never tried this brand of seeds but I will look for them in the future!! The lavender is so pretty and smells very fresh."

Elly7 (5/5)

Looking forward to my flowers!

"I’ve planted my seeds and they have started to grow. We’ve had some rough summer weather in New England so they have definitely had a rough environment to thrive in. I planted a handful of seeds and it appears they are all germinating. More to update as they continue to grow!"

Coreym24 (5/5)

Quality product

"Love this brand. I’ve always bought their seeds in the past but never bought the lavender. The seeds sprouted quickly, and the majority of the seeds did sprout. Excited to have fresh herbs!"
