"Good size for home us and at a good price -however, either the design or quality-control for this item was so poor as to be unworthy of your long established brand name. The clear “humidity dome” cover does not fit the base. It is extremely flimsy and slightly too large to fit into the rim of the base tray. The flimsy nature of it allows it to be forced into the 4 corners but that causes two sides to bow or buckle inwards -which creates nearly 1/2” openings that allow fungus gnats free access to the interior. In addition, the same compression needed to make corners fit, causing the bowed sides, creates a spring-like pressure at the corners which a few minutes later, makes the dome pop out of the base. If I wasn’t struggling so hard to control, let alone eliminate a serious fungus gnat infestation that arrived with a bag of potting soil, I’d probably feel more forgiving of the non-fitting dome issue (or if I discovered the problem before I hydrated and planted seed in the pellets!). Although I likely would have still contacted you. The concept was good, but the manufacturing of such a poorly designed (or perhaps failing to include the vital quality-check step), only serves to undermine your business!"
