After all danger of frost, sow Mixed Colors African Daisy seeds in open ground. Cover with 0.25" of soil. Prefers light, dry and not too rich soil. For earlier bloom, start indoors about 4 to 5 weeks before last frost. When plants are a few inches high, thin or transplant. These plants will not mature properly if not trimmed.

"I planted the seeds in 3" pots with a seed germination mix and lightly covered with mix soil. With 2 seeds per pot and 32 pots Ive got a germination rate of 6 seedlings for a germination rate of 9. 3%. If this is normal I'm OK with results. Otherwise after 17 days is it possible to increase the germination rate. I'm not getting what I want to fill a space in my garden. I didn't anticipate having this problem."
