Pellets will fit 16 and 36-cell Jiffy Tomato Greenhouses. This is Jiffy's largest peat pellets. They are perfect for seed-starting plants that will grow larger, more complex root systems (such as tomatoes and peppers).

Peat is not a good seedling starting mix

"I ordered the old stock off your website. I asked your customer rep what was the difference and was told its just the old packages. No difference in the product. I found the 50 mm pellets to be extremely hydrophobic. Boiling water worked to initially hydrate them but they dried out hard on the inside. Seedlings can only be watered so much without fungal issues or dampening off."

Great for bigger vegetables
