Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

Pollination requirements: Triple Crown is a seedless watermelon and requires nearby pollinator plants for fruit production. Our packets include approximately 30 percent pollinator seeds to support successful pollination.

For best results:

  • Plant pollinator and seedless plants close together (within two feet).
  • Plant side by side whenever possible to encourage pollen transfer.
  • Keep in mind that pollinator plants will typically be smaller and flower earlier than seedless plants.
  • Spacing properly will help improve pollinator activity, fruit set, and yield.

Seed Spacing: Sow Organic Watermelon seeds roughly 6' apart in rows, keeping rows approximately 6' apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.
