Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

Good quality seeds!

"These are good quality seeds and you get a lot of seeds! I planted a handful in one section of my garden and they're already starting to come up! I plan to plant some more once I get the rest of my garden beds ready. This looks like it's going to be a beautiful flower mix to attract butterflies."

Good germination rate

"I planted these seeds a few weeks ago and am getting fairly good amount of small seedling growth, but it's too soon to determine the plants or how they look. Need a longer timeframe allowance to review the quality of the flowers but overall I'm pleased with the coverage."

Tosha R. (4/5)

Flowers

"Spreads so easy and covers a large area. Can't wait to see them all bloom in all their beauty. It's so easy to use and makes for a beautiful flowering section."

I like it so far, will update later on progress

"I really like this product. The packaging is convenient and easy to get into and also tape it up to save some for another season if you want. I love that it was specifically tailored to be appropriate for my area and to help with the sustainability of the local environment and pollinators. I’ll unfortunately have to report back later and update my review on whether the planting has actually been successful and growth is seen."

Wow! Look at that Germination.

"These seeds are magical. I have never seen seed germinate and sprout so quickly. I am so excited to watch these amazing seeds grown into beautiful flowers for the bees. I literally put down new dirt and sprinkled seeds. I didn’t even cover them up with dirt. It rained hard and then 4 days later… sprouts. Wow!!"

The seeds are easy to use in a convenient bag.

"I really enjoyed using these wildflower seeds. I love the convenient bag they are in. I found them to be very simple to use, just sprinkle them in prepared soil and water. I had tiny sprouts emerging in no time!"

A beautiful diverse flower garden in a bag!

"Incredible and diverse collection of flowers, perfect for a southeastern U. S. garden, such as in here in Louisiana. Very easy to plant, a very nice sized bag that is easy to use. Wonderful quality, great product! I can’t wait to see how beautiful my garden is going to be this year thanks to Ferry-Morse."

Ferry-Morse Bulk Wildflower Seeds

"Wow—what a great value! The bag is huge and packed with a beautiful variety of wildflower seeds. You really get a lot for the price, and it's exciting not knowing exactly which blooms will pop up where. It does take some patience, as wildflowers don’t show results overnight, but if you give them time, the payoff is worth it. Perfect for adding color and life to a garden, yard, or open space. Can’t wait to see everything in full bloom!"

Excellent quality with a focus on pollinators!

"Superb variety of seeds, excellent packaging and I love the focus on pollinators. I haven't had blooms yet however the quality seems excellent and I cannot wait to invite butterflies and bees into my yard. It includes a QR code for planting instructions, perfect for me but may not be preferred for all."

Great for a fence line

"I was so excited when I saw this bag. There were so many seeds inside! The bag is big enough for me to fit a small plastic cup inside to scoop and sprinkle the seeds. I put a thick border of seeds along one of our property lines. I’m excited to see all of those wildflowers pop up! We didn’t get much rain until this week (and I can’t stretch a hose there) so I’ll have to wait a little longer for them to grow. The seedlings did pop up fairly quickly once we did get some rain. I also sprinkled a bit in a couple flower beds next to the house. I think they’ll look great with the zinnias already growing there. The only minor thing missing was maybe some brief planting instructions. I know what to do with them but someone might need clarification that these go in full sun, etc. I would definitely buy this product in the future whenever I have a large space where I want to add some low-maintenance color. If this works out well I’ll be buying more for another fence line or two."
