Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Peas are a cool-season crop, easy to grow and very quick to harvest. Direct-sow the seeds 1 to 2 inches apart and 1 to 1½ inches deep. In warm southern and western climates, peas are also ideal as a fall crop started in late summer.

Planting Depth: 1 - 1.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow peas seeds roughly 2" apart in rows, keeping rows approximately 2.5' apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

When harvesting peas, do not jerk pea pods from vines since rough handling can cause plants to stop producing. It is best to snip clusters of pods from vines with scissors or pruners.

Speedy germination

"These peas were super easy to plant and they have germinated so quickly! Peas are such a great option for a fast and bountiful vegetable. I'm going to put these in the ground once they're just a bit bigger; so far they've been doing great!"

Home grown peas have never been simpler

"Home grown peas have never been simpler than with Ferry-Morse seeds. Fast growing, strong and high yielding seeds will allow plenty of peas for fresh use. They are also great frozen!"

Rachel C. (5/5)

Great snack!

"hese sugar snap peas grew fast and tasted great—super sweet and crisp right off the vine. Most of the seeds germinated, though a few didn’t pop. The vines stayed around 3 feet tall, so they were easy to manage in my raised bed. Great for snacking or tossing in a stir-fry. Just don’t expect canning-quality pods. I’d buy again for a quick, easy harvest."

Fatma (5/5)

Fast growing with brilliant color and flavor!

"The peas just starting coming in them seem flavorful and brilliant color. They were packaged perfectly. It did take about 4 weeks to see any growth, but them seem to be holding up well in this heat."

Kelly (5/5)

Great germination process!!!

"Germination process was easy. All of them sprouted with no problem. Easy to transfer and repot. The packaging is nice abd there is a good amount of seed in each pack. I still have plenty of seed for next year. Very happy with this."

Snap peas

"on June 12th is when these were planted. . me and my daughter both did this as an experiment. I did mine outdoors, partial sunlight. Hers was indoors under LED light. Her grew way bigger and faster. Can't wait to be able to finally taste them, package came in quick, and did well through shipping, I'm sure once ready they will taste great. . received free to test and I'm super happy with process."

Diana (5/5)

Quick Germination

"These germinated quickly for us and then planted nicely. However, an animal got to our garden and destroyed some crops - these included. Too bad, I think these may have been a great veggie with a lot produced."

Lydia (5/5)
