This kit yields large flushes of beautiful light grayish-brown to deep blue-gray mushrooms when given adequate humidity. With continued proper care, you should be able to get multiple flushes.
Contained in this box is Oyster mushroom mycelium growing on a sawdust and soy hull substrate.
The mycelium is the vegetative stage of the mushroom lifecycle; whereas the mushrooms are the “fruits” in the reproductive stage. This block of mycelium is ready to give way to the freshest gourmet Oyster mushrooms you can find!

Instructions

1. Place box on plate or waterproof tray
2. Remove perforated sections on the front and back of box. Slice an "X" from corner to corner through bag on both sides
3. Mist thoroughly to saturate the block. Mist 2-4 times daily until mushrooms emerge. Keep block moist as the mushrooms begin to grow.
4. Place in indirect light at room temperature.
5. The mushrooms will be ready to harvest in a few days to two weeks. When caps begin to flatten harvest the entire cluster by gently twisting at the base.
6. After harvest, stop watering for 2 weeks unless you see new growth.
