GREAT GERMINATION

"Review is for germination rate only . . . still waiting to see how "Salad Bowl" performs as the days become hotter in So. Calif. Planted seeds during April (about 70F highs) and every seed in the packet must have germinated. Hundreds of seedlings came up."

Easy to grow, harvest, clean, and fantastic color and sweet, crunchy taste!

"I love how simple this is to grow and harvest. Washing it and pulling the leaves off is so easy, given its long tree trunk like stem, especially compared to other salads like arugula or spinach. For some unknown reason, aphids seem to prefer all other leaves to this one. It's bright color is attractive to look at, my 4 young kids love it. But it's the taste that is supreme. Sweet, zesty, with a beautiful watery crunch. Be it in a salad with radish, red onion, olive oil and balsamic, or piled on a burger or grilled chicken sandwich, it's incredible! My wife, the kids, and I consider this our favorite salad above all others, and it's organic too. Highly recommend at any time but especially on a hot summer day! Enjoy!"
