Product Information Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Our Parris Island Organic Lettuce seeds grow long, spoon-shaped leaves that fold into upright, eight-to-nine-inch-tall loose heads.

A romaine lettuce variety that is very crisp, tender, and more nutritious than iceberg lettuce. These lettuce heads are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, providing a healthy and nutritious addition to salads and sandwiches.

This cool-weather vegetable withstands warm weather better than most other lettuce types. Its sturdy nature and hardiness make it perfect for year-round harvesting.

Reviews

Cool lettuce bunches

"Packaging is pretty typical, growing instructions are spot on, taste was great too, loved the salads and having fresh veggies available! Gonna try to grow inside during winter"

Crystalc228 (5/5)

Great lettuce.

"I grew this last year and it was wonderful. This has become my husband's favorite lettuce. It was slower to bolt than another variety I tried."

Bette B. (5/5)

Worth the price, good seeds.

"The packaging of these seeds is good, the seeds were secure and all there. I haven't been able to see how germination is on this pack, but I have used their seeds before and they are excellent. I use a hydroponic garden and they are excellent for both that and outdoor gardens."

Amantha (4/5)

Quality seed and received a lot.

"Just received my seeds. The package has a good amount of seeds to get me started. I should have a nice yield. Seeds are not broken or overly dried out. Will review again once they begin to sprout. My hopes are high as it looks to be a quality seed."

Chastitym14 (4/5)

Warm Weather Tolerant

"I love that the Parris Island lettuce is a type of lettuce that tolerates warm weather so that we can enjoy salads from the garden all season long. Hardy and nutrient-dense, it’s an excellent replacement for iceberg lettuce for those looking to increase nutritional intake. The germination rate is good, not great, and the seed packed has no way of resealing itself."

Honeyamirite (4/5)

Tough season

"Many people in the area I live in struggled with their garden this season. I was not able to get any lavender to grow but i do not blame the seed company as I have had great success with this brand in previous seasons."

Kaylaj119 (5/5)

It's growing

"I gave it to my dad so he can grow it since he has a big back yard and a little garden and so fat it's growing and he likes it he can't wait to cut it and use it"

Nayelim69 (5/5)

Great lettuce seed brand and easy to plant

"This seed lettuce product was really easy to do. I just planted them in my yard with some garden soil and they started growing easy and fast. They had great flavor and made for a great homemade salad."

Hunterb35 (4/5)
