Reviews

Wish it was a better summer

"I am not sure what to write as these originally took off for us but then shortly died. Kale is usually hearty so I’m not sure if it was the hot weather, soil, or critters. We have groundhogs and rabbits who visit our yard often year round. The packaging is cute and I’m just sad I can’t say anything about the taste as we had an extremely low yield this year in all of our garden crops."

Good seeds

"Easy to grow. I love that these are container variety. Perfect for anyone who doesn't have a garden. The germination rate was good. I received these a little late in the season so I have not tasted or harvested yet."

Jessicam3f40 (5/5)

Cant wait

"Took me a bit to actually plant my kale so I don’t have any germination yet. It is easy to plant and and i have no issues with it so far. I will update my review appropriately."

Shadeb (5/5)

Good packaging, lots of seeds in a pack.

"I love kale, I’m so excited for these to grow! I will update my review after harvest, hopefully I can grow them successfully! For my region planting is April-June so getting them in a little late but fingers crossed. The packaging is helpful gives you all the planting instructions you need."

Cheril13 (4/5)

Grew well!

"These seeds seemed to do well. I added them to my raised garden bed area and they grew fine. I did have a little bit of an issue but it's all my own fault, it's been way more hot in Pennsylvania than usual. I would recommend it!"

Misssarahmack (5/5)

Growing

"These seeds have germinated and they are making their way through getting bigger and bigger. They are still too little to harvest but they are doing ok. There are a lot of crickets that are making it a bit hard for the kale to really flourish but they are hanging in there."

Ednac (5/5)

Growing fast

"The Kale started sprouting with in a week. When they got bigger we planted them in the ground and they are doing well. A little over half of the seeds sprouted, I planted about 30. I have not harvested it yet because they aren't big enough yet."

Briannah24 (5/5)

Good start

"Just barely sprouted I have not had a harvest yet but looks like its ogg to a good start I willl use this brand next year because its reasonable and the reviews are good"

Cryslae (5/5)

Easy to plant

"These seeds are easy to plant. I sprinkled them on a veggie bed 2 weeks ago, and they look good now. I dont have a green thumb but the planting experience was easy enough. Can’t wait to have kale for salad soon"

Lucyd107 (5/5)

Decent seeds so far

"These are a bit tricky to review, since they are seeds that take time to grow and because the time they were sent. Kale is generally a cooler time of year growth crop, spring or fall. Because of that I ended up starting a few seedlings in doors and when they were ready transferred them to large indoor pots for continued growth. A couple of seedlings failed but only one or two of the 6 I tried to start. By the time the seeds arrived it was already pushing too hot outside for these to thrive and then we hit two large heatwaves so I am glad I stuck to the decision to try and grow them indoors. So far they have been going well, and will see how it goes closer to harvesting it. I do have seeds left over as well so my plan is closer to the fall start more seedlings and then see how growing them outside goes in the cooler weather."
