Firm tops on the eight-inch-long mature roots of Organic Danvers Carrots make them easy to pull from the ground.

The flesh is firm, crisp, and has excellent flavor—a fine keeper and high in vitamin A. After pulling out of the garden, their strong tops will help ensure long-lasting freshness. With a deep orange color and sweet, crisp taste, Danvers carrots are perfect for fresh eating, roasting, or juicing.

Instructions

Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.
