almost zero germination

"I planted a whole package of these seeds. Exactly as instructed on package. I got one seed to germinate. I've been seed starting for 30 years. I don't know if the retailer I bought them from did not store the seeds properly or they were not properly stored in shipping, i just know I got nothing."

"I purchased these seeds at a respected local nursery. They were labeled for sale by 12/25. Started them indoors (96 seeds total) in coir cells with organic seed starting mix, kept them on a seedling mat in my tabletop greenhouse, in a west-facing window that gets great light, appropriate watering. The package states 10-12 days to germinate. After 2 weeks, nothing. After 5 weeks, nothing. They're about 2 months out now, nothing. Not. One. Seed. Germinated. I spoke to a handful of gardening/nursery pros--all scratching their heads. I moved on and put onion sets, not seeds, in the same coir cells (didn't bother dumping them out, the seeds weren't doing anything anyway and the sets are doing GREAT!). While this isn't a deal breaker for me for the FM brand, I won't be purchasing these particular seeds again. If the company would like, I'm happy to return the remaining seeds if it would be helpful in determining what went wrong."
