Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

Fast growing!

"These are great so far! I planted them about ten days ago and there are already tons of little sprouts. It was super easy to start and the instructions are very straightforward. I do wish they were printed on the bag rather than just a QR code to the site. I decided to plant them in a pot rather than scatter them. I may have made the mistake of adding too many seeds because it looks like they all sprouted! They grew very quick. I can’t wait to see what they look like when they mature. There are still a lot of seeds left over. The bag is filled with a really good quantity for the cost! Very impressed and highly recommend. I was also very happy with the amount of options for different seed mixtures on the site."

Backyard Flowers

"I planted the Ferry-Morse North American Mix Bulk Wildflowers in a raised area of my backyard and added a few to a planter box. The seed mix came in nice packaging, with clear instructions, and was easy to spread. It also included a generous amount of seeds, definitely enough to cover a good sized area. It’s still early, so I’m waiting for them to sprout, but I’m looking forward to seeing the flowers bloom and which pollinators they bring in. I’m also excited about the possibility of cutting some for centerpieces. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review."

Want colorful flowers to decorate and beautify the

"Spring is in bloom, and its flower season. Never has there been a wonderful opportunity to decorate the exterior of your home with the mix of these beautiful, colorful flowers. The seeds are plentiful within the pack that I have received, and they help make my garden look all the more beautiful. Just a tip: don’t plant too close to the front/back door, bees will be coming in to pollinate! Do keep that in mind when using (or planting flowers in general)."

So Many Seeds

"This bag has so many flower seeds! I spread them a week ago and am waiting for them to start growing. With the number of seeds, I am expecting full ground cover. I love the variety of seeds included as well."

Wonderful wildflower mix for colorful flowers

"So excited to plant the Ferry-Morse North-American Wildflower Mix. Spring is here and I am preparing my patio and bought some new planters for this colorful mix. There are 18 different types of flower seeds in this one package. On the back of the package is a scan code that takes you to the website with information about planting and growing these wildflowers. . . so helpful. Plenty of seed comes in the one pound package to grow lots of happy flowers. Can't wait until they bloom. Thank you Ferry-Morse and Influenster for the opportunity to try this product in exchange for my review."

Can’t wait!

"Created a mini flower bed to add the bulk wild flower seeds. I can’t wait to see the growth. This week will have rain so I hope they will sprout. I am in zone 7a and this is a 1 lb bag."

Yay!

"I’m happy to get these seeds! I’m hoping they will fill my side yard with beautiful flowers. I’d love to see different packaging-cardboard with a sprinkling/distribution system. The bag has no instructions, but it’s pretty common sense."

Colorful mix!

"This North American seed mix by Ferry Morse has a nice variety of colorful flowers in this bag. I appreciate that some of the flowers in the bag are an attractant to pollinators. The packaging has a QR code on the back of the bag for easy access to instructions for planting. Only time will tell the finished product."

Fun and exciting to see what sprouts

"I have been growing the seeds in a barrel for a bit, and something is sprouting. I am not sure what, but I am excited about it. They could be annuals or perennials. Regardless, they will all be so beautiful. Easy to plant and fun. I love how colorful the seeds look as well."

Nice big package

"We love this seed mix. It comes with a very generous amount. We planted it along our property and still had plenty left. We are looking forward to seeing how the flowers come in."
