Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

Great Regional Flower Mix

"Ferry-Morse Midwest Mix Bulk Wildflower Seeds are perfect for my garden. I have been wanting to start a wildflower garden and this pack has made it so easy. I love the fact that I was able to choose a variety based on my region and what grows well here. It took the guess work out of choosing flowers. It came in an easy to read bag with the breakdown of flower type. I am excited to see beautiful blooms soon!"

Simple variety of seeds for a midwest yard

"So far I just received the package and recently planted the seeds, but what I can say is that the instructions on the package were pretty simple and clear. It suggests using a soil mix, but I just scattered the seeds by hand before a few rainstorms went through. The seeds are just beginning to germinate, so I look forward to seeing the variety of wildflowers in the coming weeks"

Quick to Sprout

"I was surprised at how quickly these seeds germinated! Sprouts appeared in just 3 days and have been growing strong. It’s great to see bulk mixes based on region to help support the insect life. I’ve noticed plenty of small guys visiting the plants even before the flower. The packaging for the product is small and convenient, with all the information you need on the back. I’d recommend anyone in the region looking to spice up their yard or porch give this a try."

Seems to have a fast germination rate

"I haven’t had any of the flowers come up just yet due to timing, but so was able to do a germination test. While there are different types of flower seeds with different rates, at least half of the seeds I tested sprouted within just two days! The package is cute and the description makes me excited to have lots of different flowers in a short time."

Hope in Every Handful!

"We just planted the Ferry-Morse Midwest Wildflower Mix, and we’re already excited! The seed variety was impressive—plenty of colors and textures to look forward to. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to sow, perfect for beginners or seasoned gardeners alike. While we’re still waiting on the blooms, the quality and care in the packaging give us high hopes for a vibrant, pollinator-friendly garden soon!"

Germinating quickly! Can’t wait to see the flowers

"Two weeks after planting with daily watering, these are sprouting all over my planter! I can’t wait to see what they look like when they flower. I planted them in three large planters and all of them are sprouting. The one pictured gets the most sunlight and is doing the best so I would say to plant these where there is full sun."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OBSESSED with these wildflower seeds!

"I am so happy I found this 1 lb bulk bag of wildflower seeds! 🌸🌼 What really sold me is that I could choose a Midwest-specific mix, so I know I’m planting native flowers that help local pollinators (and keep my garden super low-maintenance because they’re meant for my climate). The packaging was great, the seeds were fresh, and I love how much ground they cover — it’s honestly such an affordable way to add a gorgeous pop of color to my yard without spending a ton at the garden center. 🌿💛 If you’re looking to create a dreamy wildflower patch, support bees + butterflies, and keep things native, you need this! 🌻✨"

Bigger bag than you'd expect, regional blend

"Scattered this whole bag and it's just starting to sprout. Excited to see what comes up! This is a large bag of seed and having different regional flower mixes is really cool."
