"I used the Jiffy Seed Starting Mix to plant my green bean seeds I pods before transferring them to the ground. I was a little concerned at first because I watered them but the dirt seemed to stay dry and flaky. However, as shown in the photo, all the pods have seeds that sprouted! My favorite part is, unlike normal garden soil, this doesn't smell bad!!"
"Jiffy seed starting mix is outstanding. The consistency is so much better then any top soil i have worked with. Very easy to use and then the end result is amazing dirt to use for heathly veggies"

"I like the Jiffy Compressed Seed Starting Mix with Cocoa Coir pods. They fit easily into my starter pots or plastic ups that I use for seed starters. I like to use this method for most seeds as I can nurture them and it protects from Spring storms. There is a lot of soil mix in one pods. Each one soaks up quite a bit of water and expands to approximately 3-4 times the original size. I would not hesitate to buy these each year because they are lightweight until hydrated with water and are an excellent seed starter mix."
"I was so excited to get this and get to try it. My backyard is a plat sanctuary so I'm always in need of soil. It was really easy to use, in the pucks it comes in. Isn't too rough or to soft and seems to take well to new plants. Because of a high need for soil I'd definitely prefer a larger size bag but this just to try was just the right size. For quality soil, you really get what you pay for"
"These things worked really well they expanded really well and they stayed damp for a very long time after I watered them they clean up easy and are really great for new gardens!"
"This seed starter mix was easy to hydrate and spread for my herb garden boxes. Love the compressed format for easy storage until spring. It takes up way less room than a normal bag of potting soil."
"This product seems to be well made and durable. Very rich soil and I think it will do well. It does have a very strong smell which I appreciate and have really enjoyed this product"
"It is so easy to hydrate this soil and start my seedlings. I can't wait until they germinate. This is a clean odor free soil that doesn't get my nails dirty. And the packaging is light and easy to carry and store. Come on spring."
