Hybrid Mixed Colors Excelsior Foxglove is an easy-to-grow flowering plant that produces enormous spires of large, dangling bells.

This foxglove variety blooms in a range of lovely pastel shades. Colors range from white and shell-pink to deep-rose, with crimson, maroon, and chocolate markings. These colors blend harmoniously, creating a visual masterpiece that captures the essence of Nature’s artistry. One of the many pleasures of planting foxglove seeds is their ability to attract pollinators, especially bees and butterflies. This variety performs best in rich, moist soil.

Great germination Rate

"In February, during winter, we planted these seeds using milk jugs (Winter Sowing Method) in New York. By May, we had around 15-20 plants flourishing. After planting them, they thrived splendidly, appearing lush and sizable from my window even amidst the winter chill. When sowing these seeds, it's important not to bury them under soil. Additionally, Foxglove seeds require cold conditions (stratification) to initiate germination. Hence, if you intend to sow them in May, it's necessary to refrigerate the seeds for 1-2 months; otherwise, they won't sprout. We eagerly anticipate a diverse array of flowers come June this year."

Paul J. (5/5)

Foxglove height / bloom timings

"Eager to plant your seeds. How tall does the spire of these seeds grow? Are flowers produced the first year? Do the plants flower yearly once planted in the ground in zone 6?"

Peggy (5/5)

"3 months to go. Beautiful."
