Spring is here!

"I finally sowed these and got them to start growing. They sprung up pretty fast, given the right amount of sunlight and water. I used just common soil as it was what I had on hand. They grew decently fast but with the cold cominv and going, they have been in a greenhouse. I have yet to see them bloom but spring is around the corner and I am ready for these beautiful flowers to open and have all the bees ready for pollen!"

Only plant what you need because they will all com

"Ferry-Morse seeds are the best I plant them inside due to small critters outside like to eat my flowers. This is the first time I’ve planted 36 and all 36 have came up. I’m going to have tons of flowers. We’ll have to give them away his gifts. They are thriving. The roots on them are so long. I can’t wait to see the finished product when it blooms. Well recommended for lots of value."

Sprouted fast and strong!

"The packaging is good quality and none of the seeds were missing. I was happy to see how many seeds were in the packet. Most of the seeds did sprout, and earlier than expected. I saw the first come up after about 3 days. They are growing well, and I’m excited to start to see flowers!"

Ferry-Morse

"Great price range for the pack of seeds. The packaging came well prepared with bubble wrap and added protection. The germination process has been a little slow with these particular seeds. I’m hoping soon I will get a few sprouts."

Easy to plant

"I can't wait for these to finish germinating! These seeds are tiny but easy to plant. There are a lot of seeds in the package and they get planted very shallowly. I noticed that these seeds started to germinate in about 2 weeks. The hard thing about them is that it is hard to distinguish between the plants coming up and weeds. I can't wait to see how they continue to grow. These are going to be a great low flower to have under some of my trees. They should add a lot of color to my yard and another place for my pollinators to go."

Will try again next year!

"I planted the Ferry-Morse Five Spot (Nemophila maculata) seeds this season in my garden here in Massachusetts, but unfortunately, they didn’t make it to the flowering stage. I was really excited about them and did see a few leaves start to come up, so I know they at least began to establish. However, we ended up getting hit with a heat wave, and I’m not sure if that was just too much for them. They’re known to prefer cooler temperatures, so it’s possible the sudden heat stressed them out before they could really grow. I also suspect I may have planted them a little too deep, since these seeds need light to germinate properly. Next time, I’d be sure to surface sow them and maybe try planting earlier in the season to give them a better chance to thrive before the summer heat really kicks in. Even though they didn’t make it this time, I’d still be willing to try again because I love the look of the flowers and I know they can attract pollinators. It just seems like getting the planting depth and timing right is key with these."
