A slicing cucumber variety with sweet-tasting fruits dark green in color. Spacemaster Cucumber sizes measure from 7.5" to 8" long.

Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

Personally I don’t think it has anything to do with the seeds, but rather our short window for growing things. Plant them early summer or late spring

"So I planted them too late and my cucumbers didn’t grow in time because it’s already cold here in Michigan but hopefully the roots don’t die and they’ll come in next spring. The plant itself did grow a lot and the little flowers started coming in but the cucumbers didn’t form since it started getting cold out and my plant has died"
