Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Sow a few seeds evenly spaced in hills, 8 inches high and 12 inches across. Young vines should have a fence, trellis, or heavy cord on which to climb. When young vines are about 8 inches, thin to 3 plants per hill. Does not transplant well.

Planting Depth: 0.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow carrot seeds roughly 12" apart in rows.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Too much water can cause carrots to crack. They should be kept weeded (a clean mulch can reduce this job). Also, lightly place soil over exposed roots to prevent cracking.

Reviews

Scrumptious vegetables

"Amazing quality seeds and exceptional produce. Love the taste & different variety. Packaging was great with nice description. A new choice of mine with great growth and a healthy family choice."

Aprilr6e24 (4/5)

Good brand

"I’ve used Ferry-Morse before and been very pleased with the outcome. This time is no exception. The seeds are well packaged and germinated within 15 days as the package states. I’ll be curious to see how they end up because I haven’t had much luck with carrots in the past. They tend to only grow so long because of the clay soil."

Kl104 (5/5)

Garden Explosion

"These carrots are beautiful. I have had a garden Explosion, all the seeds I got have taken off and not just the carrots, but summer squash,so plentiful, I have shared with neighbors. I am not a cucumber lover, but tried the long dill, and they are so juicy and crisp. The Buttercup squash have done very well and will enjoy this fall and winter. I got beets, bunching onions, and also red onions. I could not be happier with my garden. I also use the Super Thrieve and it is outstanding. Not a radish eater, but got the breakfast radish, very good. HAPPY GROWING"

Quick Germination, Not Complicated!

"I planted the carrot seeds in my gardening tubs in rows as the directions suggested. It only took a week and a half for the seeds to begin germinating. I can’t wait to watch them grow and to finally see and taste the carrots! If everything continues to go as smoothly as it has been, I would definitely recommend growing these. I don’t have any experience growing carrots and these Ferry-Morse seeds have made the experience great!"

Klorissab (5/5)

Planted well

"As far as planting seeds these were as easy as they come. After about two weeks it seems to have the tiniest bit of green peeking out, I think my timeline may be a bit longer than the suggested times. seeds all looked good and we’re all very consistent shape and size. Looking forward to a very bountiful harvest coming up. "

Victoriace986 (5/5)

Quality seeds that germinated well

"The seeds sprouted nicely and unfortunately had I kept up on taking care of them, they probably would of produced a good carrot. I had neglected taking care of them as my schedule got super busy."

Sarahn166 (5/5)

Love them!

"I love using Ferry Moss seeds for my veggie garden! They're inexpensive, easy to follow planting instructions on the packet, and care instructions! I love that I'm going to get different colored carrots and that they are non GMO! I definitely recommend!"

Shorty D. (5/5)

Can’t wait to harvest!

"I had some trouble keeping the seeds/seedlings wet, so only a few have germinated. The ones that have are doing well! I’m going to start more and try another method to keep the soil moist. Carrots take about 60 days until harvest so I can’t speak to taste yet, but I’ll try to remember to update and add pics."

Katym74 (5/5)

Excited

"There hasn’t been enough time between receiving this product and the review deadline to plant these and actually see how they taste but I can’t wait to do so. The rainbow carrots are going to be the perfect addition to my garden. My son can’t wait to eat them. The packaging is good and has lots of planting information on the back."

Madalynm11 (5/5)

Taste the rainbow

"These seeds are a great way to get a little bit of the rainbow into your diet. I grew them in a pot, although if you have a garden that may be a little better for growth. They are pretty low maintenance so perfect if you don't have a green thumb"
