In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

Good germination and variety

"I love that this mix will attract beneficial insects but also contains edible herbs like cilantro, dill, and fennel. I tossed a few handfuls in the corner of the garden and I now have a lush green carpet. Germination rate seems strong."

Quick, hearty sprouts

"Very pleased with this product. There were a lot of seeds in the package - very good value. We laid it in four of our garden beds (sun to shade) and also in seed bombs. All seeds grew really well. They were quick to sprout and very diverse. Very excited to watch these bloom throughout the season."

Good value!

"Great value for this variety of seeds! I only used a small portion so far but I have a bunch coming up. I’m eager to see them grow and what they become."

Tons of seeds, easy to grow, and perfect for attra

"This is seriously the biggest bag of seeds I’ve ever seen! I planted them last week and already have tons of little sprouts coming up. The mix is packed with wildflowers and herbs like cosmos, dill, poppies, cilantro, and more, and it’s made to attract beneficial bugs like ladybugs, lacewings, and parasitic wasps—which means less pests like aphids and mites messing up my garden. No filler, just a ton of seeds (like 300,000-ish!) and it covers a huge area. Super easy to plant—just scatter and water. Can’t wait to see all the flowers bloom and the garden buzzing with life!"

A+

"I planted Ferry-Morse Mixed Wildflower Seeds this spring and was thrilled with the results—within a couple of weeks, the seeds sprouted beautifully, and now my garden is full of colorful blooms and buzzing with bees and butterflies. The variety in the mix ensures continuous blooming, and it’s been a joy to watch new flowers pop up throughout the season. It’s a low-maintenance, high-reward option that’s perfect for brightening up any outdoor space while supporting local pollinators."

Good seed mix!

"I like that there are a variety of flower seeds in this mix. I think it is a good mix that attracts beneficial bugs and destroys garden pests. The seed mix was easy to plant but I would like for the package to have been resealable. I do not like the fact that you have to scan the package for planting instructions."

Easy flowers to add to your garden or fill areas a

"Im so excited for these to bloom, this is a huge bag that goes a long ways and love the variety with over 14 different flowers. It’s so easy, i just raked the area I wanted to put seed on and put seeds there and some dirt to keep them in place now we can watch them grow and enjoy the beauty it will bring. It’s curated to attract good guys like lacewings, lady bugs, hover flies and parasitic wasps, which help to destroy harmful pests such as aphids, thrips and mites. I will post another picture ones mine fill in, so excited!"

Beneficial bug mix to your garden!

"I recently started using this bug mix and love the concept behind it. It’s designed to attract beneficial insects like lacewings, ladybugs, hoverflies, and parasitic wasps-natural predators that help control garden pests such as aphids, thrips, and mites. While I haven’t seen results just yet, I’m hopeful as the garden adjusts. It feels good knowing I’m taking a natural, eco-friendly approach to pest control. Looking forward to seeing more beneficial bugs show up over time!"

"These were super easy to seed. I’m trying the seeds in pots. I spread them out, covered in a thin layer of soil, and gave them a water. There is a great mix of wildflowers and I can’t wait to see them grow. And lm hoping the polinators come fast."
