Product Information Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Our Blue Lake Stringless Pole Green Beans seeds will soon produce fleshy, tender pods that grow to be roughly 5.5 inches in length.

These stringless pole beans have mild flavoring and are high in vitamins A, B, and C.

Blue Lake beans make for excellent snap beans. They are also often dried on the vines for clear white shell beans.

Growing Blue Lake Stringless Pole Beans is easy! Sow seeds outdoors in an area that sees full sun after all danger of frost has passed. When planting, space Blue Lake Pole Beans around two seeds per every 4 inches, separating each row of seeds by about 20 inches.

Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Sow seeds when the soil is warm and all danger of frost is past. Plant 2 seeds every 4 inches. Soaking seeds overnight before planting will speed germination. Thin to 1 plant every 4 inches when the plants have 4 leaves. Pick early and often to encourage production. Sow every 2 weeks until 8 weeks before fall frost.

Planting Depth: 1 - 1.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow Blue Lake Stringless Beans seeds roughly 4" apart in rows keeping rows approximately 20" apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.

At Ferry Morse, we are proud of our non-GMO & guaranteed fresh seeds.
