Product Information Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Our Blue Lake Bush Beans seeds are sure to bring you many-branched bean bush plants that product heavy yields of green bean pods.

Blue Lake Green Bean pods have a similar appearance to the pole variety of Blue Lake beans. These bush green beans have 6.5" long rounded pods. These beans also boast disease resistance and are high in vitamins A, B and C!

Wondering when to pick Blue Lake Bush green beans?

This bean variety reaches maturity in roughly 55-60 days, so we recommend harvesting your pods around this time. Bush beans are determinate and therefore the pods on this plant will last about 3 weeks post maturation before the plants begin to wither.

Economy-sized Blue Lake Bush Beans seeds packet can be found here.

Planting Depth: 1-1.5"

Seed Spacing: Sow two Blue Lake Bush Beans seeds every 4" in rows.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Avoid working around beans when wet as this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.
