Product Information Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Our Blue Lake Stringless Pole Green Beans seeds will soon produce fleshy, tender pods that grow to be roughly 5.5 inches in length.

These stringless pole beans have mild flavoring and are high in vitamins A, B, and C.

Blue Lake beans make for excellent snap beans. They are also often dried on the vines for clear white shell beans.

Growing Blue Lake Stringless Pole Beans is easy! Sow seeds outdoors in an area that sees full sun after all danger of frost has passed. When planting, space Blue Lake Pole Beans around two seeds per every 4 inches, separating each row of seeds by about 20 inches.

Suggestions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.

Not pleased with pole beans

"I planted these pole beans and they have grown like crazy. Probably almost 5 ft tall. As of yet they still do not have even one blossom . I have bush beans that I planted at the same time and have been eating them for a few weeks. I am in Omaha Ne. And this is the season for beans. Can you tell me why these pole beans are not producing any beans. They have taken up my garden space for nothing. Yours truly Barbara Priefert"

"Totally delicious"

"We grew Ferry-Morse Blue lake stringless pole beans FM1K this year and they were amazing!! We have a large arched trellis planting 5-beans per side and they completely enclosed it producing many-many long beautiful & delicious beans!! We harvested everyday and after eating our fill canning & freezing enough for the next year we started giving them away. Everyone loved the taste and texture so they started canning too. Super easy to grow"

I am very pleased with

"I am very pleased with blue lake purchase. The deliver was ahead of predictions. After soaking the seeds in a moist environment, we planted them and they surprised us in about 4 days. They look great in spite of the late season planting. Dennis"
