Instructions Chevron Forward

After the danger of frost has passed, sow seeds in well-exposed open ground. Cover them with soil. When the plants are a few inches tall, thin them. Keep well watered.

Seed Spacing: Sow sunflower seeds roughly 6 - 8" apart.

Nutrient Care Instructions: Apply SUPERthrive once per week. Soak in solution of 1/4 tsp per gal for 15 min. or longer depending on size and type.

Unfortunately, we never got the chance to see them flourish because our lawn maintenance company accidentally mowed over them. So, no picture to share, sadly. Despite this mishap, the seeds arrived promptly and were well-packaged. We appreciated the detailed planting instructions that came with them. These Are A Very Strong Sunflower

"I received a packet of Ferry-Morse Sunflower Cutting Gold from Influenster for free in exchange for my honest opinion. The packet came with 24 tiny Sunflower seeds. That is the perfect amount to start a nice full garden. Unfortunately, we have a major squirrel problem. Our neighbor feeds them, and we are overrun! I tried everything to save as many as I could. I ended up with 4 stems. They are growing nicely! They're very strong little stems. We had a major rain storm, and I was concerned they weren't going to make it. They did, though! We followed the directions. We planted them in an open area until they were tall and thin. Then, we covered them with soil. They have not bloomed yet. It's still too early. I am excited to see how pretty they will become. They are supposed to be 5 feet tall. 70 to 90 days till they peek. This is such an amazing little project. I can't wait till next year. I will definitely be looking for Ferry-Mores Sunflower Cutting Gold again and other products from them to start more projects."
