Instructions Chevron Down Chevron Forward

In cooler climates, plant from spring to early summer. In warmer climates, plant from fall to spring. Select a sunny spot receiving at least six hours of full sun daily. Prepare the planting area by removing sod and weeds. Sow seeds by broadcasting—evenly hand-scattering seeds mixed with a carrier material like sand or peat moss. Or, in cold climates, consider frost seeding by broadcasting seeds over snow-covered soil on a sunny, late-winter day, leveraging the melting snow to settle the seeds into the soil. Sow seeds at the recommended rate, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact. Keep soil consistently moist until seeds sprout. In hot weather, water daily. Expect a period of establishment that can last from one to three growing seasons. Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the garden and support pollinators.

"Too early to review seed quality."

Ok

"So there is a wide variety of flowers in this mix the only thing is that i have to wait a while before i can see results but other than that i love the selection i dod have a great garden and this will be a real addition to my garden once they bloom i will come back and review this again"

Nice mix of perennials

"I'm so excited to plant these in the back of my yard and just let them do their thing since they are perennials. They have a 91% germination rate. It's currently 34 degrees so I can't plant them yet. The seed variety is fantastic. I'm in Zone 9. I know the dianthus, black eyed Susan's, verbena, hyssop, coneflower and blanket flower all do well for me - and there are a dozen more. It requires 6 hours of sun a day. Looking forward to attracting bees and more hummingbirds."

Great germination so far and excited to plant more

"Good germination so far and a great value for adding colorful wildflowers around the yard! I planted a small test batch of these seeds in a large pot to see if they would germinate before planting them throughout my yard. I'm happy to say they did sprout, which was really encouraging to see. The mix comes in a generous 1 lb bag, so there are plenty of seeds to cover a lot of space. Once the weather warms up and the nights stay above freezing, I plan to plant them in several areas around my yard. In the area behind my mailbox, around my bird bath, and on the hillside of my yard. I'm excited to see how they fill in and attract pollinators. So far, the germination looks promising and I'm looking forward to seeing the full mix grow and bloom."

Great option for pollinator gardens!

"LOVE this mix. Low chaff, great diversity. Planted a bit later but already seeing great germination rates. Instructions would be better on package than a QR code imo for gardeners who don’t use smartphones much but it wasn’t a huge deal. Only thing I noticed is that it didn’t cover quite as much as stated HOWEVER I tend to seed a bit heavier and am more of a “chaos gardener” when it comes to pollinator garden spaces, so that was more likely because of my less precise coverage. Will update my review midway through season once I have blooms and can see true quality of seed mix!"

Beautiful, easy-to-grow wildflowers with vibrant c

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Ferry-Morse Perennial Mix seeds. The packaging is convenient, and the instructions for sowing depth and care were clear. The seeds germinated quickly, and I saw the first blooms within a few weeks. The variety of flowers is impressive and truly enhances biodiversity in my garden — attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The vibrant mix of colors creates a natural, lively look. The blooming period is long, and the plants adapt well to different conditions. This is a perfect choice for anyone looking to support pollinators and enjoy a colorful, low-maintenance flower bed."

Great seeds for spring/summer garden

"So happy with this product. Planted these seeds on April 15th and 4 days after they've sprouted! Packaging great, no spills or leaks. Easy to sow, barely covering it and then water after. Good germination after 4 days, healthy seedlings and can't wait for it to bloom and add color to my backyard garden. 😊"

Can’t go wrong with plenty of seeds!

"It’s a big bag of seeds. I can’t wait to plant them. They’re a mixture of different types and seems pretty easy to grow. Hopefully they grow fast and well!"

Perfect for beginners

"This flower mix will transform and brighten any area of your yard or add a splash of color in a pot. The seedlings are easy starters and perfect for beginner gardeners."

Wildflower Magic with Ferry-Morse!!

"Just got my hands on the Ferry-Morse Wildflower Mix and I am obsessed! First off, I was genuinely surprised by how much seed mix comes in the bag — such great value! I prepped my soil by loosening it up and clearing out any debris, then simply sprinkled the seeds by hand and gently mixed them in. Seriously, it was so easy. If you’re new to planting, don’t stress! There’s a super handy QR code right on the front of the package that walks you through the whole process — love that. And on the back, it even breaks down exactly which flower varieties are included and how much of each you’re getting. Can’t wait to watch these wildflowers grow and bloom into something magical. This mix is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to add a little natural beauty to their space!"
