"I recently bought a second T5 lamp for a shelving unit to grow seedlings during the winter. It was suggested to buy the linking cord as well. I researched about the lamps and cord beforehand. With this specific cord you can daisy chain up to eight lamps. The relief of not having two main cords is tremendous; I couldn't imagine an octopus of eight cords plugged into the wall.
