So cool

"I got these Black Basil seeds from influenster and Ferry-Morse for my honest review and I'm so excited for them to grow! Black basil sounds so fancy so I'm excited to try it and very excited to also watch it grow! I'm using a hydroponic system so I placed the seeds in and will patiently wait to watch them grow! The seeds seem high quality as a small layer of gel formed around them after being soaked in water. You can kind of tell in the second picture. I'm excited to see how it tastes!"

Strong growing, lasted through the heat

"Found these seeds at the local big box store. Germination was great and growth was strong. Very unusual look for a Basil plant and a nice looking plant in the landscape. Produced large quantities of great quality herb and lasted through the heat of the summer without going to seed too fast. Will definitely try to locate these seeds again for next season"

Stunning purple basil that’s as flavorful as it is

"I grew Ferry-Morse Dark Opal Organic Basil and it has been such a beautiful and unique addition to my garden. The deep purple foliage stands out against my other plants, and the aroma is incredible. It not only adds striking color outdoors but also brings a rich, fragrant flavor to my cooking. Easy to grow and eye-catching, this basil has quickly become one of my favorites to keep on hand for both culinary use and garden beauty."

New to me

"I’ve never tried this type of basil before, just planted very recently so no idea how it is yet but 14-21 days to germinate then 80 days to harvest. Not terrible but kind of long for basil."

Good Clear Seeds

"Thanks to Influenster and Ferry-Morse for the gifted product. All opinions are my own. I live in ag zone 6b. We've had a lot of rain this year so my little seeds are struggling. I did like the packaging and thought these were affordable. I wish there had been some more management information. Hopefully these live long enough to harvest."

Kim (4/5)

Good Basil

"These seeds are great, I tried some in the dirt and some in my aero garden and both have faired pretty well so far, and the basil itself is very tasty, I plan to attempt a fun colored pesto with it next."

Faster and easier than I thought

"Let’s begin with my favorite part: These seeds are organic and NOM GMO, so they are NOT genetically modified. They came in a nice packaging with all the instructions which I followed and it worked perfectly. Actually it says it’ll 14-21 days to germinate but it only took 5 days for them to start showing up. I planted them in a small container with organic soil and placed them in a window that was facing west, so they only got some sun from sunset, but not directly and it worked perfectly fine. (Of course keep an eye on them). I’m keeping them inside for 6 - 8 weeks then I can choose to pant outside or in a well lighted area. Loved this experience, I have never planted basil before and I think it Was the easiest time I have planted something that actually worked."

Love flowers!

"Recieved these to review. Packaging was simple. Seeds looked as they should. Planted easily. Haven’t seen any growth yet but hopeful! Will update once I see some growth."

Adriana (5/5)

They are growing

"Seeds have sprouted and are starting to grow. It has only been about two weeks since I planted. It’ll be a little while before I can tell how well they taste."
