Zinnia Giant Cactus is not as pointy as it sounds. A half-hardy annual, these giant flowers bloom in a blend of brilliant colors. Quilled, gracefully curved petals form multiple rows to create very large flowers that make this Zinnia quite distinctive. It flowers freely from midsummer until frost.

Days To Bloom:
After all danger of frost, sow in open ground well exposed. Or, for earlier bloom, start indoors in flats about 4 weeks before the last frost. Cover with 1/4 inch of soil. When the plants are 3 inches high, thin or transplant.
Ideal for tall borders. For a bold effect, mass in sunny beds. Striking and long lasting as cut flowers. Remove faded blossoms to prolong bloom. Give plenty of fertilizer and water.
