Sow Black Eyed Susan Thunbergia seeds roughly 12" apart.
For earlier blooms, start Black Eyed Susan Thunbergia seeds indoors in 3" peat pots 8 weeks before the last frost. Cover with 0.25" of soil. Or, after all danger of frost, sow in open ground well exposed. Cover lightly. When plants are 2" tall, thin or transplant. Before transplanting harden off the seedling.
Excellent for temporary screens, hedges, and ground cover. Support by a trellis, strings, or wires to cover unsightly tree stumps or rocks. Keep soil moist.
